Chocolate Fig Brownies Dessert Recipe

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped dried figs
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups pure cane sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Non-dry Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fig jam
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Chop up the dried figs until each piece is the same size of the chocolate chips. Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Melt ½ cup butter in microwave. Mix butter and remaining non-dry ingredients into the mixing bowl. Butter or grease your 9”X13” baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a cooked. Let the fig brownies cool off before slicing. Enjoy!
